***Putting out Feelers for a dyno day at Technical Sports One (TSO)*** The quick dyno tune I did on my fresh mini motor gave me an 18% bump in power from my previous settings and I picked up 2 wins at the Minimoto USA round. Im all about big competition and I think running your race bike on a Dyno is a no brainer. Even if you dont want to tune it, you could run the bike and at least get an idea of how healthy the motor is and where youre at on your air/fuel ratio. I spoke with Leonard today and hes good with this idea. I would like to do this on a Saturday the weekend before a race event. August 10th is open and the 23rd. Thats a weekend before STTARS and a weekend before WAR Pricing will vary depending on time spent. A simple run will be $30 and a tune will be around $80-90. I spent 1-1/2 hours on the dyno myself and paid $90. Putting this into contrast, a standard dynotune for a full sized bike is $250 or more. So you can see where Leonard is giving you a deal. Not only do you get the dyno time, Leonard is a veritable encyclopedia of useful information. Hes great at explaining how your motor works and how tuning affects it. Think of this opportunity more like a learning experience with a bonus of making your bike better. Hes also got a great collection of rare bikes in his warehouse to drool over while youre waiting for your time on the machine. Whos in? Ill make this an event and let Leonard know if I have at least 6 racers interested in doing it. I want to see more guys racing at the front with us and this little step can not only make sure your motor is running mean but give you the opportunity to make a little more power. :D
