#QFES wet weather #fastfacts: - SES volunteers have received 233 requests for assistance since 6.30am today. - These requests are concentrated in south-east Qld, with 116 requests received in Brisbane Region and 107 requests in South Eastern Region. - QFES swift water rescue technicians have responded to a number of incidents where motorists have driven across flooded roadways in Brisbane and the Gold Coast today. - Firefighters rescued a motorist stranded in two-metre-deep flood waters at Bukulla Street, Wacol around 12pm and are currently rescuing a person who is stranded on the roof of a car stuck in flood waters at Bonogin Creek Road, Bonogin. - Specialist swift water rescue technicians and additional appliances are on stand-by at locations across the State. - Queenslanders are reminded: if it’s flooded, forget it. - Residents should call the SES on 132 500 for emergency storm response.
