****QUESTION**** Karl B. has a question. He wrote, "My wife and myself have finally acquired our dream of owning a few acres, with a nice little house and a big, huge barn. We added a few horses, some chickens and even 2 goats. Last month, we went to the shelter and adopted a mother cat and two of her kittens, who are about 5 months old, already. All have been fixed. My question is, their diet. We put out a big bowl of dry cat food each day, along with fresh water, but to tell you the truth, except for the first week, the food has hardly been touched. Instead, we find remains of mice, birds and even an occasional rabbit, near their bowls. Are they trying to tell us that they prefer their own wild catches to what we serve? Is this a healthy diet for them? Should I stop putting out the dry and let them simply catch their own?"
