Quick answers, and sound bites, like a Band-Aid on a bullet - TopicsExpress

Quick answers, and sound bites, like a Band-Aid on a bullet wound; it is acceptable when there is nothing else around. But a well thought out reasonable, rational solution to any issue and problem is what is needed and far too often lacking, for too many of the wrong reasons for the issues in our lives. > I like this post! But, I do not like Organizations that claim to represent the teachers as they perform their primary function, which is to care for and education our children about the basic fundaments of learning, such as, their life, their family, their community, their nation, their world; at a foundation of the three Rs, (R)-eading, W-(R)ITING, and A-(R)ITHMETICS), and all the other things that make up a well balanced educated child and citizen. When the organizations that are to help the people who help us help out children, our future, protect bad teachers and educational and mental abusers of our children; when that Organization care more about their paychecks and their power then that organization needs to change or be dismantled. Every teacher that is teaching for the right and true reason need to be paid a decent salary according to the community and nation that they teach in and or live in particularly in The United States Of America, and pay should always be the Third most important consideration, with the child first, with the desire, love and calling to teach being second then a just wage, based on qualification and performance being third. That is just my prospective. No Organization should be allowed to exist, long, when they fail to honor the parents and the students, that they are charged with and only for the length of time that the parents and the community and nation agree upon. I know that it is sometimes a difficult job, but that is the grave responsibility of being a teacher and of educating the children committed to the teacher and to the particular school system, whether it is public or private, secular or religious school system. Always, always, always the prime responsibility that the children are is the parent or parents. And there is nothing that should take that responsibility away except in extreme cases of parental neglect or when the parents have abandoned that child, which is a God given, lifetime responsibility. Clichés and political games do not belong in our schools and with our children’s lives and our future; we are not and they are not pawns, in a game of chess, as it were. We are as parents and there are as our children too precious and too important, to be used and abused in their private fight to survive.
