. . . R.I.P. . . Rest In Peace . . . We say those initials and words automatically, almost instantly, when someone passes away . . . . . . but the first thought that comes to my mind is whether or not that person ever had a personal relationship with The Lord Jesus Christ . . . Folks, there is and never will be a rest in peace for those who have never surrendered there lives to Christ!! . . . I feel such an urgency . . . and my heart aches for them!! Its not good works, religion or a belief that will bring peace to your heart. . . . Many people believe in God . . . Even the devil and all of his demons believe! . . . Its not a religion or a hope that our good works will out-weigh the bad!! . . . Where is true peace found in any of that? . . . Any good feelings we get from those things are temporary!! Its a relationship!!! You can only have peace, forgiveness and eternal rest through a relationship with Jesus Christ!! Many people miss peace and forgiveness by about 18 inches!! (. . . the distance between their head and their heart!!) They know God in there heads but not in their hearts!! Come to Jesus and find the peace that everyone is searching for and knows they dont have!! (Yes, I am radical!! . . . Christ has radically transformed my life!! . . . and/but I have peace!!)
