*RANT MODE ON* *Paintball warning* So, back in March I bought a brand new Maxtact TGR2 marker. Even got an extra 8 mags with it, giving me a total of 10 mags. I had signed up for a mag-fed only game, and the team I was on at the time was looking at joining the Maritime Magfed League. First day out, only fired a couple of rounds and wound up using my pistol mainly. It wasnt until I was doing some testing at home I started having issues. The marker would have breech breaks, and occasionally burp (fire full auto). So I contacted the dealer and asked for an exchange, as the manufacturers warranty offered this within 30 days of purchase. Instead the dealer sent me a package of o-rings. Put in the o-rings and took the marker out to the field. It did not end well. Couldnt even chrono the marker, it started breaking paint right away. Shelved it and used my other marker. Later that day, once Id calmed down I gave it a field clean and tried again, it seemed to be working. Third mag on the field and it was burping again. Contacted manufacturer and arranged to have it sent in for service. WEEKS later I got my marker back, not only was it missing parts it was still burping and breaking paint in the breech. I reached out again to the manufacturer and the online owners community for help. The suggestions I received came down to the following: 1. Swollen o-rings 2. Cheap or bad (expired) paint 3. Detents need adjusting Ive replaced my o-rings more times than I can count, Ive used 1/2 dozen or more types of paint, and adjusted my detents repeatedly. No changes. Also, when the manufacturer sent me the missing parts under warranty I had to pay $10 to ship them out and the order was missing parts. Again. Two weeks ago I contacted the manufacturer AGAIN, and after giving a brief summation of my situation I again asked to have the marker exchanged. I had asked during the first 30 days from purchase, and effectively denied it so now I asked the manufacturer directly. I have still not received ANY response to my request. Not even a no. I am very much regretting this purchase, Im essentially out about $950 total between original equipment cost, parts (that Ive had to buy myself) and shipping charges for warranty. If anyone is looking to get a mag-fed paintball marker I have one piece of advice for you: Do NOT buy a Maxtact. *RANT MODE OFF*
