**RED ALERT!! - Hog hunters at Petco adoption in North Texas looking for Bait dogs We have been notified to be cautious as Hog hunters are going to adoption events in N. Tx. looking for bait dogs for hunting. These are a few of the types of dogs they are looing for: Blue Lacys, Pitties, Catahoulas and Ridgebacks. Some are tied to a tree to be used for bait while others are let loose for the kill. This is a very horrific sport and these men have no conscience when it comes to the fate of these animals. When adopting out a dog please do background checks, home checks and check references. Shelters are easy prey for these people as shelters usually dont do checks. If you have a bad feeling about a potential adoptee, dont adopt to them!
