K73: Harper is a 5 y.o. 43 lb. female, Heartworm negative! This shy girl is a little slow to warm up, but once she does she is super sweet and attached. Harper has a calm, quiet energy and is very loving. Covered in scars on face and legs. Quiet, gentle, and sweet. She seems to have suffered quite a bit at the hands of her alleged abuser. She will need a foster home who can show her patience and love, while she is allowed time to grow more confidant. Harper is very timid and cautious around other dogs. She would do best in a home where she could be separated from other dogs and given several weeks to decompress. *Confiscated by Cleveland Police after arrests were made at the home. Can only leave via rescue and will need foster until owner surrenders. Look: #1 held gaze, allowed head to be held Sensitivity: #1 stood still with tail low, accepted touch, eyes averted Tag: #1 followed at end of leash body low, a bit fearful Squeeze: #1 no response Food: #2 followed food dish with tail down, lifted head after a bit of pressure from hand to head Toy: #1 allowed assessor to take Rawhide: #1 settled close, kept a firm grip, body loose and wiggly Dog to dog: #1 approached male and female dog submissively, with head down and tail tucked Jessica Jolie
