Otherwise, dont bother!), I ditched the Leather Archives, perused the Internet A LOT and read many books (Like The Leathermans Hanbook by Larry Townsend!). When I found Roller Derby, I watched a lot of documentaries (I hope youve seen Hell On Wheels >>> news.moviefone/2007/03/18/sxsw-review-hell-on-wheels/?) and read many articles, OlRules and TextCasts (Thanks to the now dead Derby News Network!). Now that Im getting knee-deep into Strength & Conditioning/CrossFit, I spend a lot of time watching The CrossFit Games Archives on CrossFit HQ YouTube channel. For example, the CrossFit Games Behind The Scenes - 2011: Part 1 >>> https://youtube/watch?v=LPg54YmuYXk - where you can see a lot of Crossfit Games Athletes in their prime and Dave Castro (The CrossFit Games Maker >>> theboxmag/community/dave-castro-crossfits-games-maker/ :)!) being amazed by how HUGE the Public is. Whats the point? I think you cant fully/truly understand a Community without looking at its past, its core values... And the way these core values are (Too often?) being twisted and disfigured as time goes by. Call me Old School (Or Old Guard?), call me Hellarad Fun (>>> wearehellarad/2014/07/no-skirt-no-justice/ - Oh, yeah!)... But, I like to think that: The solution is to remember that WHAT UNITES US IS FAR GREATER THAN WHAT DIVIDES US.
