#RatedLoose As we continue commemorating 16 days of activism against gender based violence, there is a heart breaking post on Daphne T Jenas wall about an incidence of violence that she witnessed. Basically, this poor excuse of a man n father beat up his wife n mother of three children by Rothmans and left her for dead. I want to touch on something that she mentions: the youngest boy (all three were present when their mum read being beat up) kept saying ndidaddy. This boy is three years old!! What goes on in his little mind as he watches has dad beat up his mother? What good on in his mind when people are not stopping his dad from being up his mum? What goes on in his mind when his dad leaves his mum lying near the roadside? He can this little boy trust any of his relatives who did not show up when a stranger called them asking them to come and help his mum? *Violence doesnt solve anything! It brings more harm not only to the one it is happening to but to other people as well
