[Recovery Day 4] Consulted two doctors yesterday, thank goodness theyre more familiar with general medicine and could point out the potential problems that could be coming from other parts of my body. - Gums still swollen, but no longer throbbing. Pain is now concentrated in the jaw area. Eating anything will still cause me pain and Im now scared of food. This... isnt good. Pretty sure my blood sugar has plunged well below average at this point. - Throat still sore, but can at least swallow liquids comfortably. - One of my meds is a large tablet with a distinct smell, and that automatically triggers my gag reflex before it even gets near my mouth. :( I really hope I dont actually throw up, because thatll be mostly acid, as I havent eaten much in the last few days. - Ear pressure still getting to me, still dont know how to reduce that. Its no longer accompanied by fever. - I spent the night trying to breathe normally/deeply but I think about 50% of the time I was choking/coughing so violently that I woke up my mom. :( I know that recovery doesnt happen overnight, but Im supposed to go back to work on Monday. :( I really hope therell be plenty of progress in my recovery in the next few days.
