🍲Red Quinoa Breakfast Bowl🍲 Cook Quinoa per package instructions. Rinse well in mesh strainer and then put in a saucepan and heat to a rolling boil. Reduce heat and simmered about 15 minutes. While quinoa is cooking, dice an apple (preferably granny smith) In a microwave safe bowl, add apples, a few raisins, walnuts and a dash a cinnamon, and 1 tbsp water. Cook 60 - 90 seconds, depending on microwave and desired softness. When quinoa is cooked, mix with apple/nut/raisin. Add milk or honey or additional cinnamon to taste.
