Ref : J / 10 - 2013 This is a Technical Business / Quality Analyst role for Client Access programs in APAC supporting / leading end-to-end requirement analysis - from business, functional and non-functional, to testing (SIT/QAT/UAT/PVT) requirements. Nature of projects mainly covers application delivery & enhancement in client facing internet banking and host-to-host space. In additional to supporting the APAC portfolio project delivery, the position will also take part in various global driven programs in making sure the deliverables meet APACs requirements, quality standards, and client interest. The role will also be required to be an advocate of the project deliverable quality, and able to drive continuous improvement. Depending on the nature of the project, this role will require taking up some degree of test execution / defecting management activities – however this role is not a QA / tester position and emphasis will be on end-to-end requirement management and quality management. Qualifications: • College degree, specialized training, or equivalent work experience • Solid hands-on experience is required in supporting business requirement review, and in leading functional / non-functional requirements delivery; prior experience in leading large-scale business requirement sessions (JAD sessions) and translating business requirements into technical specifications, in a sizable bank / financial firm environment, is highly preferable. • Excellent knowledge and solid hands-on experience in agile project delivery; particularly in leading & supporting requirement backlog formulation, storyboard writing, and story grooming activities; past experience in being a SCRUM Master (or holding equivalent certification) will be an advantage • Experience in leading test strategy and test plan formulation, managing test execution & defect resolution, driving quality KPI results and continuous improvement initiatives will be highly desirable • Experience in leading a small team of onshore & offshore technical business analysts and quality analyst / testers will be an advantage • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, very detail oriented, in order to cope with complex functional / non-functional / test requirements and defect analysis • Self starter - ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast pace environment • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written • Work well in a team environment, flexible, and highly result oriented Desired Technical skills • Good knowledge in SDLC is required, and previous experience in application development will be an advantage • Experience with various requirement capture, quality & test management, test automation, environment management, source control tools, e.g., HP Quality Centre, Rational Test Manager, QTP, LoadRunner, JIRA, Hudson/CI, etc. Other preferred skills & experience: • Experience and knowledge on internet banking development, internet security, and regional e-banking regulatory control will be desirable • Knowledge of Core Banking & Payment applications, SWIFT, eCommerce Messaging systems & standards will be advantageous • Professional qualification in project management, business analysis, and quality field will be a plus, e.g., PMP, CBAP, CSQA, CSTE, 6-sigma, etc. • Being fluent in one or more Asian languages will be advantageous Interested parties , please submit your resume to [email protected]
