#Repost# The creation and formation of Man was in the express image of God thus, Man was an expression and an extension of Divinity (Gen 1: 28). Adam; the first man was formed from the dust of the earth but the transfusion of the breath of God into his nostrils made him a living soul. The ‘living soul’ status of Adam was lost at the instance of his disobedience to God’s instruction for every soul that sins shall die (Gen. 3: 3, Eze. 18: 4, 20). Christ; the Last Adam came to bridge the gap and restore man back to the presence of God to which he has become aliens and at best; strangers or visitors. Man got his residential right in God’s presence via the finished work of Christ. The best Adam could be was to be a living soul or a living being but Greater than this have we inherited in Christ for Christ came as not just a living soul but a quickening spirit- A life impacting; life giving spirit (I Cor. 15: 45). What we have in Christ is a life that can be transferred to others. It’s a life that begets life. Little wonder He mandated us to go and make disciples of the earth by impacting His life that now lives in us into them. This month, consciously Seek to ensure that Christ be formed in the life of the dwellers of your neighborhood. Be a channel through which the Life of Christ can flow unto the ends of the earth. Be a soul winner, do the work of an evangelist, Tell someone of the love of Christ and the GOSPEL of Peace, be a voice of kingdom relevance! Have you been raised up from the death wrought by sin to the Life of Christ? Have you inherited the life of God via salvation? Don’t just be a living soul, BE A LIFE-GIVING SPIRIT!!
