#Repost @niki.ferguson with @repostapp.・・・Day 22 of #COREOFCHRISTMAS Verse: “Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, because he has come to his people and redeemed them. [Luke 1:68] ____________________________________ This verse was sung by Zechariah after the birth of his child, John the Baptist. He had been struck mute all during Elizabeths pregnancy because of his disbelief. When he was able to make a sound he began praising God for He was coming to be our Redeemer. How often do we just stop and praise Him for this? I know I throw it in my prayers but rarely do I pray just to thank Him for Redeeming us. Im taking a cue from Zechariah and doing this more often and with the emotion it demands. (Whats funny is God struck me mute on this one. I couldnt get the music to load today.
