(Responding to a Conservative who stated the win last night was because people believe Republicans can help jump-start the economy): One more thing, and this has to do with the economy as a whole. Im not a Democrat, but I find it exceedingly ridiculous to listen to Conservatives talk about fixing the economy. What plans do you people have that are going to rebuild the middle class? You dont like unions, you dont like spending money on education, you dont like providing meals to children so their brains can mature alongside their education, you dont like ensuring women have access to contraceptives so they dont have more children they cant afford, you dont like raising the minimum wage, you dont like taxing corporations, you dont like taxing the upper class, you dont like providing healthcare to people so when they get sick it doesnt bankrupt them, you dont like spending money on infrastructure, you dont like renewable energy, you dont like the existence of social safety nets designed to prevent people from falling beneath the floor when they incur hard times, you dont like spending money on science, you dont like regulating the very people who caused the Great Recession, you dont like providing mentally ill people with places they can go to receive treatment, and, finally, you hate the very entity thats tasked with trying to fix all of those problems. The existence of your entire party is one huge ironic joke, and the fact that you people consider Barack Obama the one ruining this countrys economy while the decline of middle class incomes can be largely attributed to CONSERVATIVE policies started by Ronald Reagan and continued by every President after is truly, truly, truly baffling. *drops mic*
