“Rest now Yuuchan.” Haruna whispered weakly. “Meet me after life?” Yuko chuckled. Haruna nodded in response. “Still got energy?” Another nod was seen from the tall girl. “Then do what you have to do.” Looking deep into the short girl’s eyes, the guardian can tell her master is ready. No more second thoughts. “I’m sorry Yuuchan, I just have to make sure.” “It’s okay Nyannyan.” Yuko smiled and rests her head over the tall girl’s shoulder while placing the said girl’s palm over her chest, directly above her heart before putting Haruna into her embrace. “I love you.” She whispered. “I…” streams of tears continue to flow from the older girl’s orbs. She was smiling. “…love you too.” Light slowly radiates from the angels palm that is placed on Yuko’s chest. A sudden tightening of Yuko’s arms around Haruna was felt before her arms slowly let go lifelessly. The light from her palm died down and blood emerges from it in replacement. The tall girl’s embrace tightened, burying her head over Yuko’s neck. Feint sobbing sounds answers the roar. She was shaking, grazing, and nuzzling lovingly over the lifeless girl in her arms. “Yuuchan… I love you…” Almost as drained as the other girl is, she supported the short girls’ body with her own before lying down gently into the ground, keeping it safe within her arms. Feeling her eyes getting heavier, she let it rest. A deep breath from her resonates throughout the place, a signal of serenity and peace to all the creatures of the land before the beating of her heart finally came to halt.
