☛ Rule 1 : None, either, neither প্রভৃতি যদি বিচ্ছিন্নভাবে একক ব্যক্তি বা বস্তুকে বুঝায় তাহলে verb- এর singular number হয়। যেমনঃ Incor- None of the boys have made a mistake. Cor- None of the boys has made a mistake. ☛ Rule 2 : কোন singular number- এর noun- কে যখন একাধিক ভিন্নতাবোধক adjective দ্বারা qualify করে ভিন্নতা নির্দেশ করার জন্য ব্যবহার করা হয়, তখন এর verb- এর plural number হয়। যেমনঃ Incor- Both school and college education is to be reformed. Cor- Both school and college education are to be reformed.
