His image is inextricably linked with our Motherland Russia. SOT, Alexey Sergiyenko, artist (Russian): This year I decided to produce a collection of clothes and by the means of this show to congratulate our President with his birthday. SCRIPT A clothing line inspired by Russian President Vladimir Putin was unveiled Tuesday in St. Petersburg, on the same day as Putins 62nd birthday. The Homeland line is a joint project of artist Alexey Sergiyenko and Mislistudio and NNEDRE, who teamed up to create a collection inspired by the history of Russia and its most famous personalities. The main elements of the collection are red stars, matryoshka dolls, chamomile flowers, ushanka hats and images of Putin, with items including trousers, T-shirts and coats. The Homeland collection is the third time Alexey Sergiyeko has done something creative to mark Putins birthday. In 2012, he organised an art exhibition devoted to Putin, while in 2013 he presented a music video.
