#SAARC Summit now happens in two years and also the charter is being amended with more changes in the 18th SAARC Summit. Indeed, there might be many flaws and sharing bitter realities - but we mustnt be also missing that 18th SAARC Summit is expected to be one of the historic summit addressing some of the South Asias challenges. Not just South Asian but global attention has been dragged with leading powerful nations as observers since last two summits. One of the most important agendas that i am looking into is the #SAARCYouth Charter which will be released. A big shout to all the UNFPA team in all SAARC nations together with our UNFPA Nepal team. Glad as Friends of UNFPA :) European Union in Nepal is also one of the nine observers including Australia, China, Iran, Japan, Republic of Korea, Mauritiis, Myanmar and United States of America. But, the observer members yet have not been able to make a regional partnership while have already been in good relations individually with SAARC nations. The Summit this year will vision for many of its amendments of SAARC Charter while also transforming SAARC to South Asian Economic Union - SAEU. What i also expect is SAARC Secretariats hierarchy being at a high level yet hasnt been able to appoint someone similar all this year.
