SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES •6:00pm: VIP Hospitality Opens •6:30pm: Lucie Safarova, 2014 Wimbledon Singles Semifinalist and World No. 17 vs JMTA’s Jamie Loeb, the 2014 NCAA No. 1 player •7:30pm: Novak Djokovic, 2014 Wimbledon Men’s Champion and World No. 1 vs JMTA’s Noah Rubin, 2014 Wimbledon Junior Boys’ Champion •8:30pm: Celebrity Doubles featuring Novak Djokovic, Henrik Lundqvist, Edward Norton and John McEnroe The lineup is set for the 2014 Johnny Mac Tennis Project Benefit Night at beautiful SPORTIME Stadium on Randall’s Island. Join us on August 21st and see world No. 1 Novak Djokovic in action, along with NY Rangers superstar Henrik Lundqvist, Academy Award nominee Edward Norton, 2014 Wimbledon Women’s singles semifinalist Lucie Safarova, and Johnny Mac himself. In SPORTIME’s intimate 1,500 seat stadium, the action will start with John McEnroe Tennis Academy superstar, Westchester’s Jamie Loeb, who just completed her freshman year at North Carolina as the No. 1 ranked NCAA female player, taking on world No.17 and 2014 Wimbledon semifinalist Lucie Safarova. Next up, seven time Grand Slam singles champion Novak Djokovic will battle another John McEnroe Tennis Academy standout, Rockville Centre’s Noah Rubin, the 2014 Wimbledon Junior Boys’ winner, as our two 2014 Wimbledon champions face off in the evening’s feature match. The on court action will conclude with perhaps the most anticipated celebrity doubles match of all time as Johnny Mac and Novak take to the court with two tennis playing celebrities, Henrik Lundqvist from the NY Rangers and Academy Award nominee Edward Norton. The 2014 Johnny Mac Tennis Project Benefit night will include a lively auction and great hospitality, with all net proceeds to support the efforts of Johnny Mac Tennis Project, a 501(c)(3) public charity.
