I had quite a different experience last night when I was chatting with a few people and it made me take a step back to re-evaluate the way my communications are being received. Here is the chat with the one person that confused me and made me take a step back: After the normal how are you exchange I asked Please tell me a little bit about yourself and what do you do? Received the reply of, How about you go first? I replied with: we have been living in Thailand for 17 months and totally love the lifestyle. We believe in Chilled Living and have 2 fan pages and website showing our lifestyle and travels We do network marketing and earn a full time income from our laptops and show our team how to live the life of their dreams. The reply was, sounds good, congratulations! I then replied with: thanks :-) please tell me yours :-) ...lol... This is where it becomes confusing for me.... The reply was: Respectfully Andre, it sounds like Im about to be pitched.. please dont. To say the least I was taken aback as I didnt have the intention to pitch. Perhaps you guys can help me out? What is your take on it, did my words or perhaps approach lead to any perception that I am going to pitch that person? Give me your opinion?
