#SOTU Okay... paused it for a second.. I cant hold on to these thoughts through this whole thing. A. Why does the president appear to be taking credit for the boom in oil production when hes doing all he can to stop us from being energy independent? He has refused to allow drilling on public lands while being the roadblock to Keystone XL which would guarantee us tons of friendly oil again lessening our dependence on oil from unfriendly sources. B. By what metric is the president touting this low unemployment rate? You might say its the metric used for all presidents including GW Bush. True, and not true. The work force participation rate is the lowest its been since Carter. Its abysmal that 92,000,000+ Americans who are available to work simply arent looking anymore. C. The president is talking about a couple who have bounced back in the construction business. I wonder if theyd be even MORE successful if the president and AG actually enforced our immigration laws. Naaa, there are probably no illegal immigrants in construction, right? and, D. How do I get the same haircut as the Energy Secretary? That is all... for now
