*** STATEMENT FROM ROCKINGHAM COUNTY SCHOOLS ABOUT TODAYS LOCKDOWN AT STONEVILLE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL *** (Stoneville, N.C., Sept. 4, 2014) - There was a lockdown at Stoneville Elementary, this morning. All students are safe! Law enforcement was concerned about a suspect in the area that had a weapon that they thought might be headed to the school. The school was secure and the suspect was apprehended. The day is continuing as usual!
