~~STORMS AND RAIN PERIODS ON THE OUTLOOK FOR SEQ~~ *Tag - Share - Like please* The Low which is the cause of all of this Rain is expected to contract towards the SE tomorrow, lying at around Brisbane at 4pm. A Trough is expected to extend out from this and draw in Moisture which will help fuel Showers and Storms. There is a chance that some Storms may become Severe, with the threats being Damaging Winds and Heavy Rain. The Heaviest falls are expected along the Coastal, gradually decreasing the further inland you go, this is mainly due to the cell speeds - the closer to the Coast, the more Moisture, the slower it moves. Falls in excess of 100mm are possible, with widespread Falls in excess of 50mm likely. Totals under Storms should be higher. Flash Flooding is possible for those areas along the Coast who are susceptible. We arent expecting something like 2011, this is very very minor scale in comparison to that. Lastly, Waterspouts are possible along the Coast. There have been a lot around lately, the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coasts are your best bets. Although Redcliffe could get in on some of the action.
