***SUMMARY OF THE SENATE DECISIONS ON THE OOU CRISIS*** This Senate said: - That the university and students cannot gain from the cancellation of 2013/14 SESSION. - That the 2013/14 session would be the shortest session in OOU cos it was compressed due to ASUU and students crisis which consumed part of it. - That the time lost to the crises would be catered for to ensure students are properly taught and examined appropriately. - That students union govt and governing council have to further shift grounds to resolve the crisis in the interest of the university. Various options were proposed on the implementation of the reduction. - That if an agreement is reached by both parties, lectures can resume on Monday, 22nd September, 2014. *ISSUE* We should pray that God will touch the minds of the parties concerned.
