"SUNDAY: A very common compound word meaning, "the day of the sun," Sun-day. Most all of Christendom follows the lead of the Catholic Church in worshiping on the day of the sun. The Catholic Church claims sole authority for the change in the day from Saturday to Sunday without any Scriptural sanction for doing so. Naturally, the day of the sun is fully consistent with the below referenced pagan gods as they are all tied to sun worship. No other day but Sun - Day would be appropriate. Is this the teaching of Scripture? Is this the truth? What would motivate the Churches to teach this deception? The following can be documented in any number of common resources. Webster’s dictionary is a good one which you may have at home. Sunday - Means The Day of the Sun. Monday - The Day of the Moon. Tuesday - Tiw’s Day,a war god, a Teutonic deity. Wednesday - Woden’s another pagan god. Thursday - Named after the pagan god Thor. Friday - Named after the goddess Frig, Woden’s wife. Saturday - Named after Saturn, or Satyr, or Satan Most denominations claiming to be Christian follow an unscriptural system of time. The system they ascribe to is based in pagan culture and worship on Sunday, the day of the Sun. Satan’s deception is keen. The only day of the week we are called upon to rest by Scripture is the Sabbath, yet Satan has claimed it as his own by putting his name on it. Amazing isn’t it? Remember “He will think to change times and laws.” Daniel 7:25. Who was it that said, “Truth can be stranger than fiction”?” ~Christianity Unmasqued, pg. 37, 38 GOD IS PAGAN??
