** SUNDAY DIVISION 2 FEATURE MATCH REPORT ** MARINE (12) v (8) OLD SKOOL This was a good, fast paced encounter with 2 willing sides eager to get the better of one another. From the off set we had both teams showing their intent and willingness to take chances. Both sides were respectful of the damage that could be done on the attack, but this didnt mean that it was a boring defensive encounter! We had the reigning champions Marine open up a slender lead which enticed Old Skool to attack further, and attack they did. They tested the ever present Lennie in the goals, and not for the first time the keeper has frustrated opponents as to how he has kept the ball out of the net! That along with the woodwork being tested a good few times also! Marines Craig was the games top scorer with 5 tonight, and he lead the line well. MAN OF THE MATCH Martin Lennie, for yet another outstanding performance in goals - A contender for GK of the year award here folks surely??
