How many cheques have you been burning without cashing in? Isaiah 55:11 states when a prophet prophesies, he is giving you a word of God, and it cannot return until something in that word is given. You were given a collateral security that God needs to come and redeem. Every word from God behaves like Jesus, it cannot return to God without accomplishing its assignment. Every time you despised prophecy you were delaying the move of God and in turn you invited pain in your life. Jesus is the word made flesh and was born of a virgin. Mary was not born by coincidence but because of the prophet Isaiah’s prophecy of the birth of the Messiah by a virgin. There are people you are meeting in your life because they were created in your territory by prophecy: the word followed prophecy Jesus knew what he was doing when he asked for water on the cross; He was fulfilling prophecy and when he said “it is finished”, it was because He had completed following all the prophecies He was following. God does not allow Himself to carry a name that says He can’t, if He prophesied it, it will come to pass. You need to receive prophecy without arguing and thinking.When a prophetic word is uttered, be careful how you receive it because when you argue with it, you will see it manifest in your neighbor but you will not eat of it. The mouth of a prophet is like a manufacturing factory. There is a level where your prophet needs to provoke God for the sake of His name, like Moses did.
