** SUPER SPECIAL APPEAL** OZZIE IS REALLY STRUGGLING IN KENNELS AND IS DESPERATE TO FIND A NEW HOME. PLEASE SHARE AND SPREAD THE WORD ON THIS LOVELY BOY. Ozzie is a 3 1/2 year old Lurcher x currently looking for a new home at the JSPCA. He is a very affectionate boy who loves to give kisses and just loves being in the company of people. He is a very lively boy who absolutely loves playing with his toys and having a good run around, particularly on the beach, but he can get a little overexcited at times so is learning to have some self control! Ozzie would suit active owners who can utilise his energy in a fun and rewarding manner and who are willing to continue with his basic training in the home. Ozzie may take a little while to settle into a new home environment as he has led quite a sheltered life and the change is all a little bit too much for him at the moment but with a routine in place and a combination of time and lots of love Ozzie will blossom and thrive into the amazing dog that we know he can be. He is looking for a home with older children around 12-14 plus and for now is looking to be the only pet in the household although we are working on his socialisation with other dogs. Ozzie has never been left alone during his life so understandably he is finding kennel life extremely stressful. We have been working on his anxiety issues with being left but initially he would be looking for owners who are around all of the time to start building up his confidence with being left alone. The JSPCA will provide all the advice and support needed in order to help Ozzie overcome this. Please consider giving this lovely lad a chance to shine and a second chance at happiness.
