*SUPR DATES SHUFFLED, SCHRADER TO APPEAR AT BRR* Its usually the norm to always have changes in a dirt racing schedule throughout a season, but with yet a lap to be completed on the 2015 P&W Sales Southern United Professional Racing Series calendar, the swapping and alternating has already begun. The SUPR Series debut at East Texas Speedways 3/8-mile in Petty, Tex., has been pushed back from its original April 18th date, to make a Labor Day Weekend doubleheader with Lone Star Speedway. The tour will now be visiting the new facility at ETS on Sunday, September 6th. Unfortunately another change to the slate is the cancellation of SUPRs return to Sabine Motor Speedway during the Memorial Day holiday. The Many, La.-track initially had a $2,000-to-win event slotted to open a doubleheader weekend on May 23rd, but track staff/officials decided to hold off on the race. The P&W Sales SUPR Series is actively trying to fill the void and/or add another date or two with another Louisiana track. And lastly, the Baton Rouge Raceway doubleheader has been moved back a week, due to a special, on-track, guest appearance by former NASCAR Sprint Cup driver, Ken Schrader from Fenton, Missouri. The events at BRR in Baker, La., is now scheduled for Friday, March 20th and Saturday, March 21st, with a three-hour, open practice session planned from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm. As many know, Schrader, now residing in Concord, NC., is no stranger to dirt racing and has even competed and won (October 1991 at Devils Bowl) on the SUPR Dirt Late Model tour before. Schrader had (10) wins on dirt last season, all in the modified division, but it was his 4th-place Mud Summer Classic finish in last years NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Eldora Speedway, that got a lot of buzz. Series co-founder, Donald Watson of Greenwell Springs, La., will provide a specially wrapped Barry Wright Race Car, powered by a Wall 2 Wall Performance Engine, for Schrader to drive at Baton Rouge Raceway, all branded in his own Federated Auto Parts sponsorship and number.....and for the P&W Sales SUPR Dirt Late Model Series regulars in attendance -a crack at the 1985 NASCAR Winston Cup Rookie of the Year and four-time race winner. *REVISED 2015 P&W SALES SUPR DLM SERIES SCHEDULE* March 7th - Boothill Speedway in Greenwood, Louisiana March 20th - Baton Rouge Raceway in Baker, Louisiana March 21st - Baton Rouge Raceway in Baker, Louisiana April 3rd - Battleground Speedway in Highlands, Texas April 4th - Battleground Speedway in Highlands, Texas April 10th - Timberline Speedway in Corley, Texas April 11th - I-30 Speedway in Bryant, Arkansas April 25th - Greenville Speedway in Greenville, Mississippi May 16th - Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track in Fort Worth, Texas May 24th - Lone Star Speedway in Kilgore, Texas July 2nd - ArkLaTex Speedway in Vivian, Louisiana July 3rd - Timberline Speedway in Corley, Texas July 4th - Lone Star Speedway in Kilgore, Texas July 17th - I-30 Speedway in Bryant, Arkansas July 18th - I-30 Speedway in Bryant, Arkansas August 7th - Battleground Speedway in Highlands, Texas August 8th - Battleground Speedway in Highlands, Texas August 22nd - Greenville Speedway in Greenville, Mississippi September 5th - Lone Star Speedway in Kilgore, Texas September 6th - East Texas Speedway in Petty, Texas November 28th - Lone Star Speedway in Kilgore, Texas (Write-up by Bryan Wimberley)
