*SUSPENCE* EPISODE THREE (3) I arrived at work at exactly 07:30:49am. I arrived 49 seconds late. I arrived sweating and panting. But fortunately for me, I arrived bfore the manager. Youre here already! he said, tapping me on my shoulder. Keep it up! he added. Withing 20 minutes, I was taught how to tidy up a room. After a few minutes, the manager called me, Look here, were expecting a very big guest today, make sure Room 05 is well tidied. Change the bed sheet, mop thoroughly, apply enough room freshener, clean the T.V, the Ceiling fan, the toilet; everywhere, under the bed. And then he paused. I WAS going to say to him, Have u finished? Why dont u do all of that yourself; I dont need the job no more, but I dont know what made me not to say it. And then in no time, I saw my self in room 05, dressing the bed, washing toilet, mopping the floor, cleaning the T. V. ..bla bla bla... And again, an order came, Leave the room quickly, the guest is here! I did. The person was indeed a big guest- a woman who looked to be in her late fourtees. I sighted her golden ear rings, wristwatch, hand bands, hand bag. I sighted her horse shoe. She was just sparkling. Her green eyes...but of all, I noticed a little resemblance with Lateefah, the girl that sat on my lap in the bus. She checked into room 05, the room I just tidied up and within few minutes she was at the reception again, talking to the manager. Pls send someone to help fix the T.V. in my room. she told him. Go do that! the manager sent me. It was actually my fault. I removed the cable frm the socket and 4got to put it back. So there I was in room 05 trying to fix my mess and then... ...and then, Unbelievably, the woman walked in, tickled me on my waist and said, I hope ure not the shy type? Ma... Maaa... I stammered! *NEXT EPISODE* *2MORROW MORNING*
