..Sad week here at Rust Art. Had to say goodbye to our best friend and mascot. Max. Some say dogs look like their owners ... But in this case NO. Max was a devilishly handsome English Boxer. With his dark features and grey tips he was the George Clooney of all dogs. He had a fantastic dog life from Running the bush in Southern Cross chasing rabbits - which was some times funny for a dog that could run really fast but with little directional control. Perhaps we are alike. He only had a few small blemishes on his character. A few small bites on me as a puppy learning his strength and unfortunatly cocking his leg on the wife. .... We had a serious talk !!!! Lots of long trips in the truck with me I learned what NOT to feed him for a pleasant journey. And many all vehicles he travelled in he left a few slobbery windows in his wake. Slobber... Now thats something we got used to. He was very popular at the vets - they called him handsome !!! And whenever out got lots of pats from strangers. Anyone walking past our house got the full escort the length of the fence. A better friend i could not have asked for. Hope this memorial silhouette does you justice old man. Rest old friend.
