(Said one who had some knowledge from the Book, I will bring it to you before your glance returns to you. And when he saw it placed before him, he said, This is from the favour of my Lord to test me whether I will be grateful or ungrateful. And whoever is grateful - his gratitude is only for [the benefit of] himself. And whoever is ungrateful - then indeed, my Lord is Free of need and Generous.) - (Quran - 27:40) Question/537 in the Book Jawab Al-Muneer by Imam Ahmed Al-Hasan (the author of the book THE ATHEISM DELUSION): First: The story of the minister of prophet Solomons pbuh, Asif bin Barkhia, Q1: What is the story of prophet Solomons pbuh minister Asif bin Barkhia when he brought the throne of Balqis? Q2: What is the correct name of the minister of prophet Solomon pbuh that you know? Q3: Did Asif bring forth the throne through dua, or what? If it was a dua or something else can you please mention it? Q4: Explain how the throne transported from one place to another? Answer: In the name of Allah, the Abundantly Merciful, the Intensely Merciful All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds May the peace and prayers of Allah be upon Muhammad and the progeny of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis. And whoever is ungrateful - then indeed, my Lord is Free of need and Generous.) May Allah grant you success to all that is good, he is the successor of Solmon and he is Asif pbuh, as for the way he brought the throne it was by lifting it and I have explained it and clarified it, and it is published in the books and you can read it, and so there was no time and space to affect the process of transportation; because all there is to the case is to determine the two locations of transportation and then to lift the throne from one location and return it from the lifting in the other location at the same moment, and in the process of lifting, there is no time and space, therefore there is no movement which causes delay in transportation. This is a part of what is found in the book (The Righteous Servant) concerning the lifting up and it is published in the ansar of Imam Al-Mahdi pbuh website and you can read it (The meaning of lifting)… And as for the lifting and clarifying its meaning, and it is the second matter which remains from the previous question where I asked the Righteous Servant (pbuh) in it, and I said, “Indeed we are not successful in clarifying the lifting, or I should say it is very unclear with some of us.” So he (pbuh) answered me, (With regards to lifting I shall give you an example, however do you know the differentiation and integration in mathematics? For the example depends upon it.) So I said, “I do not know that.” So he (pbuh) said, (All praise is to Allah, do you know the straight line? Do you know what (infinity) means in mathematics? Either way I shall try to put it in the simplest of forms possible, suppose you have a stick/staff and you place it vertically, the highest point is the self of the human being, or the highest rank for that person, and the lowest point in it is the body, however I ask that you take heed that it is an example and not reality as it is. Now, divide this stick into segments in your mind, however, to make this in the best way possible, it must be that these segments are as small as possible. Now, look to the segments, how many are they? In order to know that, you must divide the length of the stick by the length of the segments, so for example if the length of the stick was 1, and the length of the segment is as small as possible, do you know what the smallest number equals? The smallest number reflects represents the existence, it is not zero but it is the closest thing to the zero. And since the numbers are infinite, it is impossible to confine it, however it is possible to imagine it. So it is not one tenth, because one hundredth is smaller, and also one thousandth is smaller, and so on you can add infinite zeros because the numbers are infinite, so our perception of the result would be through the result of the division by zero. So the result of dividing the length of the stick by zero equals to infinity. And since the number is not zero rather it is close to it, the result would be just as the Almighty said, {And if you should count the favor of Allah, you could not enumerate them.}, meaning it is possible to count; from the aspect of possibility it is possible to count, however in reality is it possible to count? No, {And if you should count the favor of Allah, you could not enumerate them}. Now, this verse also clarifies to you its meaning, perhaps previously you have asked yourself: how can the favors of Allah be uncountable and how can I not enumerate them, although it could be counted apparently, isn’t it? How many are the favors. Let it be any number, it is still countable. However it has been clarified to you why they are innumerable, or that it is impossible to enumerate them in reality, because in reality it overflows upon all the existence of the human, upon all his manifestations. If you wanted to count the manifestations of the human being would you be able to enumerate them? I have clarified in the example that this is impossible, is that clear now?) So I said, “Yes.” So he (pbuh) said, (Do not say “Yes” if there is something unclear) And indeed there was a vague and unclear matter, I made it clear in my question, so I said, “Does the manifestations of the human being mean his different situations that ihe goes through such as standing up and sitting and… and…” So he (pbuh) said, (No, now I shall give you another example: let us assume that the human being is light that I want it to reach to a certain place, and you opened the source of the light in any place, so how is the light transmitted from the source and from its place to the other place? It occurs by manifesting step by step towards the target. These steps – the steps of movement - are the manifestations of the human being. In fact they remain as constant steps and constantly renew, because the source is constantly transmitting. If the transmission is cut, the human being would perish and return back to being nothing. Now, if I made you step a few steps backward, it will not change anything in you. You will only be invisible in the physical world, and you will have a more illuminating body and not weighed down with darkness; this is what lifting is and it is of degrees. If I wanted you to return a few steps, you will become visible and need what the people of that physical world need in order to stay in it, so the one who is lifted is among the people and not in them. Since the human being is actually the existence of his manifestation which its number is close to being infinite, the Divine blessings upon him are innumerable. As the human being (the human beings nature/fitra) is close to infinite and (the infinite) is Allah swt. So he is the image of the Divine. That’s why Ali (pbuh) said while describing the human being, “You consider yourself to be a small sin, whereas the greatest world is in-folded within you.” I have tired you perhaps, or disturbed you, so excuse me.)
