“Seeing Beyond” Photography Exhibit at Bungalow Ice Cream and Coffee Shop The Bungalow Ice Cream and Coffee Shop, 1399 Water Valley Parkway, Windsor, in partnership with the Boardwalk Gallery of Windsor and Tigges Farm of Greeley, is featuring the exhibit “Seeing Beyond” the photography resulting from a workshop held at Tigges Farm this fall. During the workshop, Tigges Farm Owner, Ken Tigges, provided an education tour of the Antique Farm Equipment Museum. Students were encouraged to “look beyond” and capture the history or the story behind or within the equipment or the farm in general. Students are showcasing their best photographs and the photo editing skills they learned during the workshop. The workshop began as an Agri-Tourism project to model how rural and urban businesses can work together to complement and promote each other. Boardwalk Gallery owner, Suzette McIntyre, provided the expertise and instruction while Tigges Farm provided the location and the inspiration for the project. The students completed their workshop with a showing at Boardwalk Gallery. The Bungalow Ice Cream and Coffee Shop graciously joined this project by accepting the opportunity to extend the show thru December 4, giving the students an even greater community exposure of their new skills and talents. Students exhibiting are: Kim Oelschlager of Windsor, Robin Allen of Englewood, Sara Andrew of Englewood, and Deborah Nielsen of Cheyenne, Wyoming. This join project has been so enjoyable, it is destined to become an annual event.
