** Senator Udall & the BLM owe a group of Taxpayers MONEY! ** We were told by Udall (in letter) and the BLM (verbally, call recorded) that the wild mustangs in Placitas, NM would be HUMANELY taken care of, and that there are FORTY NATIONAL HORSE GROUPS that would take in any wild mustangs seized. Well, WHY then did I personally pay $1200 towards RANSOM for the rescue of the White Band, and other Placitas residents quickly pitched in another $5000 total to RESCUE these horses from a KILL BUYER that was chosen over Placitas Animal Rescue?? (NOTE: The wild horses were taken to SW LIVESTOCK AUCTION now how HUMANE is that?) Udall and the BLM LIED to us all! They owe us money! I am pursuing this reimbursement for all that pitched in. Placitas Animal Rescue now feeds and vets these horses as well. They were fine as they were for decades. Now THE PEOPLE are left to care for and support these wonderful animals, AFTER THE LIES! ** Part of letter from Senator Udall et al. to Director Juen of the BLM **
