Gyeongbokgung, the Palace Greatly Blessed by Heaven. With Mount Bugaksan to its rear and Mount Namsan in the foreground, the site of Gyeongbokgung Palace was at the heart of Seoul and, indeed, deemed auspicious according to the traditional practice of geomancy. The government ministry district and main buildings of Gyeongbok Palace formed the heart of the capital city of Seoul and represented the sovereignty of the Joseon Dynasty. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- There will be a Gyeongbokgung tour on Sept. 13th . Exchange students and Seoul Mate are going to meet at Gyeongbokgung station exit no.5 and move on together. During the palace tour there will be a team mission. For the mission there is an extra points for teams that have many team members that have come on that day. Winning team gets the prize and there also is a quiz after the Gyeongbokgung tour. If you are going to come on 13th, comment “in” and tell your buddies that you are participating. We recommend comfortable clothings and please have lunch before you come to the tour. Date: Sept. 13th (Sat) Price: 3000 won(entrance fee) lasts from 12:30pm-04:00pm *Fee for the tour will be given to your buddies prior to the tour and cannot be refunded.
