(Sermon Night) Topic: When Others Doubt You...Still Be Confident Good night everyone, I hope you all had a great day, my day was long and tiring, but working with children at a bible camp is always a blessing,being able to input some amount of God based material into their lives. Now tonights topic is one that I will just get right into. When others doubt your salvation, still be confident. You have a set of people who are hell bent on talking down on other people who profess their new found faith in Christ. We need to realize that if God can save a murderer,I dont see who He cannot save. Funny enough I had a little sitiation recently where someone made a remark which gave a direct impression of me being the same kind of person I was...years ago before my little ministry, and this would sort of tie in to last weeks message where persons will judge you by your past and not look at you today. It tends to be so discouraging at times when people try to bring up past events for the wrong reasons, many of us have been through this, but remember that at the end of the day God knows your heart and it doesnt matter what people think,or say,or do,Jesus Christ has the last say. Hebrews 10:35-36 says, Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised. This is just a confidence booster to ensure us that at the end of this race God will not go back on His word. May the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ be with you now and forever more, amen.
