#ShortStory IInd Part.... The train took her away from the pressures of society. She knew wherever she will go, shell be asked about marriage, but it wont matter then. Strangers dont give stress, loved ones do. She had paid for the last stop and doesnt even eyed her ticket. The entire day passed on the trembling seat, she had watched several movies where Indian railways change peoples life, it might have encouraged her to opt the train as the royal-carrier of her runaway. When the train halted, she found herself in the midst of a small city. At first, she was afraid of new faces and strangers brought out hidden fears onto the surface. However as the days passed, she adjusted and soon the city won her heart. The city, where no one interferes, where people have their own problems to tackle, where every life has its share of happiness and stress. She fell for the atmosphere and vowed to build a castle out of scratch. She could live an independent life and fulfill all her dreams. Her heart and emotions danced in unison and celebrated the freedom. She would now walk wherever she had wanted, she would spread her wings and score the vast sky ahead, she would run and touch the horizon where the shade of blue hugs the brown. Her deepest desire to show the world what she can do will be seen by real eyes. She would create her own world of success and contentment. She was quite sure that the independence will content her heart, and leaving behind peoples regular bickering will engulf her in peace. She tried hard and worked furiously until the day come when she finally raised a whole new world around her and attained a new identity. Now she wasnt a loveable girl of a large kin, who had lived her moments, roaming around, laughing and treasuring relatives love. She was now a smart woman of achievement, under whom several unemployed have gained respect. She evolved to be a dilligent and honest business woman, everyone spread hands for her. She transformed the economy of the city with her skills and use to be regarded as the perfect woman among the city people. But there is a void in her life, a hollow in her heart, a lacking in her soul and a forgotten desire to be fulfilled. Human is of mud and only mud can curb its desires. Heart is filled with wants and wishes, when its achieved, a new set of desires take their place. What was her new desires? Or were they the old ones, lived in the heart since the beginning but were neglected for long. ********************************** IIIrd and last part will be posted tomorrow Insha Allah in the afternoon. 《Honest comments are welcomed and please suggest a title too》 -Fatima
