Slow Food Seacoast, in partnership with the Piscataqua Garden Club and Strawbery Banke Museum, presents a tour of amazing gardens that all feature an edible component in their landscape.Take inspiration from Seacoast area gardeners who have integrated fruits, nuts, herbs, veggies, bees and chickens into their yards in sustainable and creative ways. The tour will take place on Sunday August 11 from 10am – 4pm. Tickets $15 (Strawbery Banke members $12). Kids under 16 FREE. In addition to the tour, Slow Food Seacoast is hosting a Garden Tour Gala and Edible Fundraiser on Saturday, August 10th from 4:30 – 7pm. Enjoy an evening of fine local food prepared by The Green Monkey Restaurant. Gather in good community, and stroll through the beautiful edible gardens and grounds of a magnificent Kittery Point ocean-side estate! Tickets for both events are now available online.
