❆❆❆Snowy Owl (Bubo scandiacus): Get off of my lawn!!!... Yesterday, I posted a picture of a Snowy we refer to as Whitey, who is wintering across the street from Headband, shown here. This is the reaction from Headband whenever Whitey flies around the marsh, essentially saying get out! With many inches of rain this weekend, I have had a bit of time to start looking more closely at the 10,000 or so photos from this winter, and I am finding some very interesting shots. Ann and I are still thinking of a 16 month calendar, or possibly a photo-essay book about this season, both would benefit raptor organizations.... Still thinking, but I think we need to do something with all of these pictures! ~Dave~
