“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” (Genesis 1: 27) That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today. When God created man, He created both males and females. God put remarkable differences between the males and females. God did not make them all to look the same; He made their genders to differ; He molded them differently; He made them unique by His own design. Notice that when God instructed man to have dominion, He was not gender specific; God gave them all the right to walk in dominion; the differences between the males and females did not limit their dominion; they were different, but they had the same God and same destination. They were different, but were all empowered by God to walk in dominion. Friend, God says, you’re not limited; you may be different from others, but you are empowered like them. You may not have what others have, you may not look like people around you, you may not have the uniqueness that the next person has, but God made you unique in your own way, and you are not limited. God deliberately made you different from everyone. Some people may be stronger than you, but it won’t stop you from being who God wants you to be. You may not have the skills and abilities that others have, but it won’t stop you from attaining greater heights. Others may appear more attractive physically, or more intelligent, but God says, as they walk in dominion, you too will walk in dominion; as they become great, your greatness will manifest. Don’t look down on yourself; be content the way God made you; God didn’t install any limitation in you, and whatever He put in you is your uniqueness, not a disadvantage. Dominion is your right in Christ; walk in dominion; don’t be left out. Pray With Me: Lord, I am not limited; nothing will stop me from shining like a million stars, in Jesus’ name!
