“So He said, “I will certainly be with you. And this shall be a sign to you that I have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.”” Exodus 3:12 Many times, after God has spoken to us about our journey, we carry on with the joy of having heard the voice of the Lord and His promises pertaining to us. And then, we meet some difficulty or struggle along the way and question God’s presence; we begin to doubt the word we heard from Him prior to the obstacle. God never told Moses about the hard stuff, He just told him He would be with him, and that he and the people would return to the mountain and serve Him. That should be enough. When you face obstacles, difficulties, struggles, in the path that the Lord has laid before you, don’t think He is not there. He is just as present now as He was when He told you where you were going. So, be of good cheer and courage today, the road may get bumpy from time to time, but the ride is assured because Jesus is not only your travel agent, but He is the captain of the ship taking you to your destination.
