“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17 (KJV) How can your faith be contagious in an environment that is fearful and unbelieving? Faith comes by hearing God’s Word and it spreads by speaking God’s Word. When you are around someone that is full of faith, no matter what your attitude may be at the time, their faith will affect you. Our words of faith can awaken sleeping giants in others. God’s word goes straight to the heart and causes immediate change on the inside. It is alive, sharp, powerful, and very active! It is like the doctors, “CLEAR!!!” when someone is dying. It was Joshua and Caleb’s faith that spread to the entire people of Israel causing them to enter into the Promised Land. How did that happen? Through Joshua’s words of faith. Let your faith be contagious through the words that you speak. More than your private prayers, people need to hear what you believe. If you know God will make a way, say it! If you know God will provide, say it! If you know He is faithful and will do what he said, say it! Don’t hold back your words of faith and close your mouth while others stay in fear! Speak God’s words and your faith will spread contagiously! Father God, Your Word is sharp, powerful, and alive. When I hear it, it affects me in a great way. I know if it has such a great impact on me, it will have a great impact on others, even when it doesn’t look like it. Let my faith be contagious, Lord! Yes, let it spread! I pray when I speak Your words out of my mouth that it causes people to awaken and come alive in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen. ( Daughters of the King)
