**Special offer** Equine Massage Therapy £25 (normally £35) As a qualified and insured Equine Massage Therapist, I can help your horse to work more comfortably, correctly and reduce the risk of injury. I qualified in Equine Massage Therapy, as I was fascinated about how horses move, and what we can do to improve the performance of these magnificent creatures, whilst reducing the physical and emotional impact. Regardless to what you do with your horses, from hacking to 3 day eventing, racing or hunting we put our horses under physical strain. Through my studies and treatment of horses I have seen the results that massage can deliver. Horses feel emotionally more balanced due to the hormones released, toxins are removed, which helps the lymphatic system and the digestive system also works more effectively. All horses can benefit from equine massage therapy. When used during training or pre and post competition, a massage can help keep muscles healthy, increasing and improving the circulation, building up those muscles that may have wasted, maintaining strength and suppleness and preventing atrophy, even during an extended period of box rest or restricted work. After exertion, equine massage reduces stiffness and can help to speed up the natural repair of damaged tissue resulting from physical exercise. Equine Massage Therapy offers many benefits such as the below Enhances muscle tone Improves performance Promotes healing by increasing blood and nutrient flow to the muscles and carries away excess toxins Promotes lymphatic drainage- beneficial when there is a build-up of lactic acid after exercise Reduces inflammation and swelling in joints thus alleviating joint pain Relieves muscle tension Balances the whole body Stimulates circulation and releases endorphins, which are the bodys natural pain killers Creates a feeling of general well-being and relaxation Reduces risk of injury Improves recovery time after illness and/or injury Helps the horse emotionally An increase range of motion and improves gait performance As part of the massage treatment, you will receive stretch exercises to help compliment your horses massage. I will also happily do a tack assessment as part of the treatment and can also advise on schooling and ridden exercises to support the rehabilitation of your horse Feel free to contact me 07788414009 [email protected] equiwyse.co.uk
