*~*~*~ Sponsorships, everyone wants one, everyone needs one~*~*~* Karting isnt cheap, from the chassis to the hubs, seat/steering wheel & tac, wheels/tires, body/wraps/decals and your almost ready to add the power. As your head is swirling from the price tag of the afore mentioned items, then you realize you need a clutch, chain, guards, race suit, neck brace, helmet and gloves. Thats not everything, but its a pretty close list to what a kart and its drive need to hit the track. Deep pockets or not, a lil help along the way from a sponsor helps. Even if its just a few dollars for a muffler, or header. Dover Power has received several requests to be sponsors for, individual, tracks, and series. As much as I would like to give to each one that asks, our budget for sponsorships gets tight! But I think JD and I have come up with a fun, interesting way for 3 to *win* a sponsorship. More details will be announced very soon!! There will be some restrictions, similar to those when a radio station has a contest, those too will be clearly stated. I will give you a hint, you will have to put on your thinking cap, you can bet JD is not just going to hand you a prize with out a lil effort on your part.
