St Marys School is seeking a substitute teacher for an occasional daily position: In the event that a teacher needs to be absent from school, we need to have a list of qualified candidates that we can call on to for the day. They will have to provide students with a first-class learning experience in a Catholic environment. QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS: • Michigan Teacher Certificate or bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 90 at a college or university • Excellent classroom management skills • Ability to follow a lesson plan and guidelines provided by the classroom teacher • Strong interpersonal skills • Completion of the workshop with certificate • I background check Substitute teachers will be provided with a lesson to ensure continuity with instruction as required by the school guidelines. They will also be provided with a list of guidelines for the expectations of our school and the wellbeing of our students.
