***Stand for Social Justice*** SVP Social Justice would like to invite you to this pre-election ‘hustings’ with Dublin’s euro candidates for the May elections. The event is in Dublin, but for those of you outside of the capital we ask you to remind election candidates of the Society’s position on justice as well as your experience on the ground. Stand for Social Justice: 1 May, 7pm, Wood Quay Venue, Dublin City Council Offices, Wood Quay, Dublin 8. Trocaire, SVP - Society of St. Vincent de Paul Ireland and Social Justice Ireland have invited Dublin MEP candidates to outline their positions on tackling child poverty, social exclusion, overseas development assistance, protection of human rights, and climate change, and to debate these issues with members of the public. Journalist, Mick Clifford, will chair the event. A Q&A session will follow where audience members will be welcome to put their questions on social justice issues to the candidates.
