Afghanistan accomplished this. Yes, the Afghanistan currently being torn apart by Pakistani assisted insurgents, talibs and al Qaeda. They had government issued IDs and had to show them to vote. Much, if not most , of Afghanistan is illiterate. Yet, these illiterate people were able to obtain ID. If the rule is citizenship, one should prove ones citizenship. Otherwise, its a mockery and should be done away with...period. The whole thing is a mockery anyway. The people are too damned stupid to elect anything except criminals and monsters -- Obama, Cheney, Bush. And the libs think the darkies are too stupid to obtain IDs. IDs that Afghans were able to obtain. Tell me it aint so. Yes, minorities, the Party of Inclusion thinks that you are a group of idiots.
