#StrikingFriday -At Jollibee Matina- Me: 1 pc chicken and 1 palabok with extra rice pls. Take out ha?. Then handed 200 Counter 2: What else, Sir? Me: Yun lng. Btw, leg part pls and more sauce. :) Counter 2: After a couples of minutes she figured out they ran out of palabok. Counter 2: Sir, wla na pa lang palabok. Me: Ah okay. Spag nalang. Counter: Encoded the details and stuff. And handed me 20 Took her a couple of minutes to prepare my order but eventually got served. Me: Uhm sorry, mgkano ba lahat? Counter 2: Had her moment of explaining things to me. Me: How come you only gave me 20 pesos? Counter 2: Sir? Nghatag na gud ko ug 41 gnina sir. Me: Ha? No. U never gave me any change earlier. This is the only change you gave me (referring to the 20pesos) and I kinda got pissed off. Counter 2: Sir, bsta nghatag ko sa imu gnina sir. Had her moment to review and stuff. Me: (Was thinking, bka ngbigay na xa nkalimutan ko lng). Then checked my wallet and bag, i never found that 41 pesos she was referring to. Counter 2: Took another few minutes to figure things out. She was really claiming she gave me 41. Me: Miss, sorry but i dont wanna waste my time on this. Lets just check your CCTV to be sure. Counter 2: Was just nodding and called up her manager and seriously took time to check their CCTV. Me: Was just waiting at the counter and thought, this is seriously wasting my time. After 5 mins... Me: So ano? Nabigay mo ba? O hnd? Counter 2: Dli man maklaru sir uy pero nghatag jud ko. And was about to hand me over 41 pesos with her statement, sir o kuhaa nalang ning 41 pesos, 41 pesos lng bitaw. Me: I was like (wtf) but kept my cool. Miss, wag na. Keep that money, okay? with a big smile. I never wanted to appear to be superior so i kept my cool. And i wasnt pissed off because the change that was given to me was incorrect but its fine. But what really pissed me off was her lack of courtesy and professionalism (at least). I could have all the way insulted her but i never did. I am a lot blessed than her. I hope shell not do it with others. Keeping your cool and being humble will surely help you go a long way. Good job,. Vill!
